MAHWAH, N.J. –The Ramapo College Foundation will honor four individuals for their professional achievement, commitment and community service at its 36th Annual Distinguished Citizens Award Dinner.  The honorees will be recognized at a gala on March 3 at the Rockleigh Country Club in Rockleigh, N.J.

The annual benefit dinner raises funds for student scholarships, faculty and student research opportunities and campus capital projects.

MARY R. FALVEY ’82 is Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer for Wyndham Worldwide. She leads a wide range of human resources, corporate social responsibility and operations functions across the global enterprise of more than 34,000 associates in 100 countries. Previously, Ms. Falvey held senior positions at RCI and Nabisco. A recognized industry leader in human resources, diversity, mentorship, corporate responsibility, and change management, Ms. Falvey regularly contributes to industry publications and presentations. She also served on the Board of Big Brothers, Big Sisters of Northern New Jersey and also served as their Board Chair for several years.

WAYNE HASENBALG is President and CEO of the New Jersey Sports and Exposition Authority. He is responsible for overseeing the MetLife Sports Complex as well as overseeing the day-to-day operations of the 30.4 square-mile Meadowlands District which includes the Meadowlands Entertainment & Retail Complex. Mr. Hasenbalg received a B.S. in Political Science from Gettysburg College in 1976, a Master’s in Public Administration from Pennsylvania State University in 1978, and was awarded a J.D. from Seton Hall University Law School in 1984.

PETER SEMINARA ’00 is a Senior Vice President, Private Wealth Advisor and Senior Portfolio Manager at Morgan Stanley Private Wealth Management. His team, The Seminara Group, has been providing investment advice to ultra-high net worth individuals as well as small-to-medium sized institutions for more than 20 years. Previously, he held positions within Morgan Stanley’s fixed income division, managing the sales efforts to more than 1,500 financial advisors nationwide. Mr. Seminara is a member of the Ramapo College Foundation Board of Governors where he is a member of the Golf Committee and the Anisfield School of Business Alumni Advisory Board. He received his B.A. in Economics from Ramapo College in 2000.

CHARLES P. SHOTMEYER is Chief Executive Officer of the Shotmeyer Family Companies. He leads and directs an 86-year tradition of excellence in service to the company’s customers and community. He is currently Chairman of the North Jersey Water Supply Commission, a trustee of the Valley Hospital Foundation and the Passaic County Law Enforcement Foundation. Mr. Shotmeyer also is past President of the Northern New Jersey Council of the Boy Scouts of America and continues to serve on its Executive Board. He received his degrees from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business.

The dinner will be held Saturday, March 3 at the elegant Rockleigh Country Club in Rockleigh, N.J.  A cocktail reception and silent auction begins at 6 p.m. The dinner program honoring the Distinguished Citizens begins at 8 p.m.  Dinner and dancing will follow.
