MAHWAH, N.J. – The Ramapo College Foundation will hold its 30^th Annual Golf Outing at the North Jersey Country Club in Wayne, N.J., on Monday, July 17.  Proceeds from the outing provide scholarship support for qualified students, fund collaborative research initiatives between students and faculty and support special programs and projects on campus. Additional sponsors for the outing include DialAmerica, Inserra ShopRite Supermarkets, UPS, Prestige BMW & Prestige MINI, BMW of North America, Stryker, Lakeland Bank, Harwood Lloyd LLC, and Johnston Communications.

The Havemeyer Presidential Leadership Award, which is given to an individual who has offered his or her expertise and whose contributions have touched the lives of students, faculty and staff at Ramapo College, will be presented to Terrie O’Connor, founder and broker/owner of Terrie O’Connor Realtors in Ramsey, N.J. In 2012, Ramapo College’s Center for Innovative and Professional Learning entered into an affiliation with Terrie O’Connor Realtors Real Estate School, Ramsey, to prepare students and adult learners for successful careers as licensed real estate salespersons with the pre-licensing requirements necessary to pursue a career in the field.

Since beginning her career in 1981, she has been a consistent achiever in the New Jersey Association of realtors’ Million Dollar Sales Club. O’Connor is a member of Leading Real Estate Companies of the World, the Employer Relocation Council, Who’s Who in Luxury Real Estate, New Jersey MLS, and is licensed in both New Jersey and New York. She is a director on the boards of Commerce and Industry of New Jersey and the Mahwah Regional Chamber of Commerce, and she served on the Bergen County Executive Task Force of Affordable Housing. O’Connor is a member of the Valley Hospital Auxiliary and the Women’s Club of Upper Saddle River.
