Yes, the program consists of 30 credits and is designed to build upon an undergraduate degree in accounting to meet the 150 credit requirement for New Jersey CPA certification.
Yes, Preparation for the CPA exam is integrated into the curriculum content.
Yes, the program is accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business, AACSB, the internationally recognized sign of excellence in business education.
The 30 credit MSAC program can be completed in 1 year attending full time or 2-5 years attending part time (depending on how many courses a student takes each semester).
Students may choose to take classes at their own pace however all 30 credits must be completed within 5 years.
No, courses can be taken in any order.
The MSAC Program is offered as a 100% online program for the fall, spring, summer and winter semesters with some classes offered on-campus during the spring semester for the 4+1 seniors. *Subject to change
A baccalaureate degree in Accounting or Business from an accredited institution with a minimum GPA of 3.0.
A student with a business undergraduate degree in a discipline other than Accounting can take additional undergraduate accounting courses or graduate level transition courses to be able to qualify for this program. Meet with the M.S. in Accounting Program Director, Professor Constance Crawford (ccrawfor@ramapo.edu) to discuss requirements based upon your particular situation.
Additionally, students may apply as a 2nd bachelor’s degree candidate in Accounting, as a transfer student.
Yes, many students continue to work full time while pursuing their MSAC degree
The Program Director of the MSAC Program will review eligible applicants for transfer credits according to the College’s Graduate Program Policies and Procedure:

Tuition is approximately $1,008.80 per credit.
Estimated total cost for the MSAC program = $30,264
*There is no additional cost for out-of-state students

Yes, Graduate students may borrow up to $20,500 annually under the Federal Direct Stafford Loan programs.
To qualify for a Federal Direct Stafford loan, graduate students must be enrolled for at least 6 credit hours per semester. Students enrolled for less than 6 credits may consider an alternative loan.
