Free Introduction to Mindfulness Workshop

This workshop will briefly review the benefits of mindfulness and present an experiential introduction to breath-based practice. Suggestions will be offered on how to integrate mindfulness into everyday life. Research indicates that mindfulness practices decrease anxiety and stress while enhancing the ability to concentrate and pay attention. Wear comfortable clothing. CLICK HERE TO REGISTER.

In this presentation, Dr. Donna Rockwell will describe the how and why of mindfulness: how mindfulness works, why it has the power to change lives for the better, some potential pitfalls to avoid, and the growing interface between mindfulness as an ancient, contemplative practice and mindfulness in our hurried, modern-day, contemporary culture.
