David is the author of The Spell of the Sensuous: Perception and Language in a More-Than-Human World and and Becoming Animal: An Earthly Cosmology. David is an international lecturer on ecological consciousness. He will be speaking on mindfulness and ecology in relation to the natural world.. His work has helped catalyze several new disciplines, including the burgeoning field of ecopsychology. Director of the Alliance for Wild Ethics (AWE), David most recently held the international Arne Naess Chair of Global Justice and Ecology at the University of Oslo, Norway.
