MBSR is an evidence-based method of mindfulness training developed at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. It can be an important adjunct in the treatment of a variety of health issues. It is also a very effective approach in reducing stress and pain while enhancing the ability to concentrate.
The 8-Week MBSR course is available on Thursday evenings or Friday mornings, from September 22 to November 18 (except October 13) with a full day retreat on November 6.
The Thursday evening course will be taught by Meg Chang, EdD, BC-DMT, LCAT, in collaboration with the Center for Mindfulness at UMass Medical School.
The Friday morning course will be taught by Dr. Ken Verni, a CFM approved instructor.
Tuition based on household income with discounts available for educators K-12, Ramapo faculty, staff, students, alumni and Friends of Ramapo College.
