FREE INTRO TO MINDFULNESS-BASED STRESS REDUCTION (MBSR)

September 11, 2015 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

This is a free introduction to the Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction course. Participants will learn about  the eight-session MBSR course which introduces them  to mindfulness practices involving breathing and gentle body movements and methods for incorporating mindfulness practices into their everyday life and work. Published research has shown that mindfulness and relaxation training can be important adjuncts to conventional medical treatment of many disorders as well as powerful way of reducing stress and pain.
