This is a free orientation with Ken Verni, Psy.D to the 8 week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Course (MBSR).. An orientation class is required for the MBSR course. MBSR is an evidence-based method of mindfulness training developed at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. It can be an important adjunct in the treatment of a variety of health issues. It is also a very effective approach in reducing stress and pain while enhancing the ability to concentrate.
The 8-Week MBSR course is Friday mornings, from September 30 to November 18 with a full day retreat on November 6 with CFM approved instructor, Dr. Ken Verni.
Tuition based on household income with discounts available for educators K-12, Ramapo faculty, staff, students, alumni and Friends of Ramapo College.
