An event every week that begins at 9:30 am on Thursday, repeating until June 20, 2016
Participants in this eight-session Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) course will gain a first hand introduction to mindfulness practices involving breathing and gentle body movements and methods for incorporating mindfulness practices into their everyday life and work. The MBSR program was created by Jon Kabat -Zinn at the Center for Mindfulness at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. This program will be taught by Beth Sandweiss, M.S.W., M.A. and MBSR instructor.
This MBSR program runs from June 2 to August 4 (not July 7)
The retreat will be held on Sunday, July 24 from 9-4pm
Please bring a yoga mat and wear comfortable clothes.
