An event every week that begins at 7:00 pm on Thursday, repeating until November 17, 2016
This 8-Week Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction Course (MBSR) is an evidence-based method of mindfulness training developed at the University of Massachusetts Medical School by Jon Kabat-Zinn. It can be an important adjunct in the treatment of a variety of health issues. It is also a very effective approach in reducing stress and pain while enhancing the ability to concentrate.
This course runs on Thursday evenings, from September 22 to November 17 (except October 13) with a full day retreat on November 6. The course will be taught by Meg Chang, EdD, BC-DMT, LCAT, in collaboration with the Center for Mindfulness at UMass Medical School.
