How long does the MFA program take to complete?

The MFA program takes 1 year to complete, full time.

Can I attend part time?

Yes, students can enroll in the program part time.

What is the class delivery format?

MFA classes are delivered in a hybrid format.

Do I need to have an undergraduate degree in Music to apply?

No, however applicants whose undergraduate studies do not directly relate to music will be evaluated based on portfolios and/or professional experience.

What is the minimum GPA required?

The minimum GPA required is a 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

Are GRE or GMAT scores required?

No, applications are evaluated based on transcripts, essay, resume, portfolio, letters of recommendation, and an interview.

How do I submit my portfolio?

Upload your portfolio files to an accessible site such as Soundcloud, YouTube, Vimeo, or web site and submit links to them in the application.

How much is the MFA?

Tuition is approximately $895 per credit. Estimated total cost for the MFA program = $42,932
