Ralph Mastrangelo and Tom Srednicki Receive Havemeyer Presidential Leadership Award
The Ramapo College Foundation returned to the Upper Montclair Country Club for its 34th Annual Golf Outing as 170 golfers braved the course on a blustery, chilly day in October. The event raised more than $121,000, which provide student scholarships, fund faculty-student research and support special programs on campus. Century 21 Construction and the Anthony J. Marino family sponsored the event.
“We are so grateful for the support from our sponsors, the golf committee and the many individuals who helped make this event such a success,” said Angela Cristini, Vice President of Institutional Advancement and Executive Director of the Ramapo College Foundation. “We especially want to thank the Havemeyer Presidential Leadership honorees, Ralph Mastrangelo and Tom Srednicki, for their expertise and years of dedication to the Foundation and Ramapo College.”

The Havemeyer Presidential Leadership Award is given to individuals who offer their expertise and whose contributions touch the lives of students, faculty and staff at Ramapo College. It is named for Theodore Havemeyer, an American businessman who was the first president of the U.S. Golf Association in 1894. Mr. Havemeyer lived on an estate in Mahwah, which is now owned by Ramapo College.
Mastrangelo, now retired, was executive vice president of the Bank of New York Securities Group. He serves on the advisory board of Market Resolve, a financial services consulting firm and is vice chairman of the board of trustees of New York Presbyterian Hospital/Lower Manhattan. He is the past chair of the Ramapo College Foundation Board of Governors.
Srednicki retired from the Bank of New York where he was responsible for managing and developing its government banking business in the southern United States. He served as both president and treasurer of the Lions International Club of Franklin Lakes, N.J., and is a former member of the business advisory board of the Anisfield School of Business at Ramapo College. He served as treasurer of the Ramapo College Foundation and is currently chair of the Foundation investment committee.
“We are all looking forward to being bigger and better next year,” said Cristini, adding that the Foundation will return to the Upper Montclair Country Club on September 15, 2022 for its 35th Golf Outing.
