New Student Surveys

These surveys are designed to gather information about incoming students’ backgrounds, experiences, and expectations.

  1. Beginning College Survey Of Student Engagement (BCSSE)
  2. Cooperative Institutional Research Program (CIRP) Survey
  3. New Student Survey (HEDS)

Enrolled Students

These surveys assess student satisfaction after their first year, analyze trends in various fields, and evaluate the integration of sustainability practices in organizations.

  3. National Science Foundation (NSF)
  4. Sustainability Culture Indicator (SCI)

Faculty and Staff Surveys

These surveys evaluate faculty experiences, employee engagement, and campus environment and inclusivity

  1. HERI Faculty Survey
  2. Gallup Survey
  3. Survey of Campus Climate (DLE)

Seniors and Alumni Surveys

These surveys evaluate the experiences and outcomes of recent graduates and their status and satisfaction shortly after leaving their institution.

  1. Graduating Senior Survey (GSS)
  2. One-Year-Out Alumni Survey

Engagement Surveys

These surveys assess student engagement and experiences in academic and campus life, and evaluate faculty perspectives on student engagement and instructional practices.

  1. National Survey of Student Engagement (NSSE)
  2. Faculty Survey of Student Engagement (FSSE)

Other Surveys

These surveys assess the teaching environment and faculty experiences, as well as evaluate students’ critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

  1. College and University Teaching Environment (CUTE) Survey
  2. The Collegiate Learning Assessment Survey (CLA)
