AUTHOR AND LAWYER FETHIYE CETIN TO SPEAK ABOUT CHALLENGES FACING ISLAMIZED ARMENIANS IN TURKEY

November 12, 2015 @ 7:30 pm - 9:00 pm EST

[Alumni Lounges]. The Center for Holocaust and Genocide Studies in cooperation with the Armenian National Committee of NJ invite you to attend a talk by author and lawyer Fethiye Cetin on Thursday, November 12 at 7:30 p.m. She will speak about her life and career since discovering that her grandmother was, by birth, an Armenian Christian who had been taken away from her mother in the course of the Armenian Genocide.

This legacy inspired Çetin's first book, a recounting of her grandmother's story in the memoir entitled "My Grandmother." The book will be available for purchase and signing.

Contact Michael A. Riff at mriff@ramapo.edu or ext. 7409 for more details.
