[Adler 108] Mrs. Basia Grabowski will be a guest speaker at the November meeting of the Future Teachers at Ramapo. She will speak about her journey from growing up in Communist Poland to becoming a math teacher in Paterson. Mrs. Grabowski describes how she struggled with the language barrier, and how she came to love her students and recognize that all children, regardless of ethnicity and situation, need love and caring for them to achieve academically.
Mrs. Grabowski will explain how she motivates her students and urges our future teachers to consider teaching in an urban district, where the rewards of teaching are gratifying.
