Avi Weber holds a PhD in German Social Law and two Masters degrees in the legal field, one from Humboldt University in Berlin and one from Tel Aviv University in Israel. Since 2005, he has served on the Knesset’s Special Expert Committee for Rights of Survivors, and since 2008, as an external advisor to the Ministry for Social Equality in Israel. Dr. Weber focuses primarily on the Holocaust, compensation law (German and International), and the effects of the Holocaust on international humanitarian law.
