Academics: Courses, Minor & Library

Ramapo students may minor in Human Rights and Genocide Studies. The CHJS supports this program with events and courses taught by its director. The College also offers a Jewish Studies Minor, which can be a meaningful complement to academic explorations of the Holocaust—one which recalls the agency, culture, and history of victims.

The CHGS maintains a growing collection of books and other materials pertinent to research and teaching in our fields of Holocaust and genocide studies. A complete listing of our resources may accessed here. Our shelves are located in front of the Special Collections Reading Room, which houses the CHGS, on the second floor of the George T. Potter Library.
