On March 27, 2010, three of our students, Boris Glazman, Kindig Olsen, and Mike Saxton, presented papers at the Regional Phi Alpha Theta Conference hosted by Bloomsburg University in Pennsylvania.
On April 23, 2010, twenty seven students were inducted into Phi Alpha Theta. The keynote address was delivered by Dr. Christine Stansell, Professor of History at the University of Chicago, who specializes in the history of US Women.
Phi Alpha Theta is a professional society whose mission is to promote the study of history through the encouragement of research, good teaching, publication and the exchange of learning and ideas among historians. We seek to bring students, teachers and writers of history together for intellectual and social exchanges, which promote and assist historical research and publication by our members in a variety of ways.
