Students who pursue studies in the School of Social Science and Human Services (SSHS) receive the educational fundamentals for the understanding of social organization. Graduates are equipped with the necessary tool kit to continue their professional development in the private, civic society, and the public sector. Their ability to reason, think critically, create and execute well-developed plans prepares them well for the global challenges of the 21st century.

The School of Contemporary Arts (CA) provides an interdisciplinary arts program, which includes the fundamental traditions of the Fine and Communication Arts enhanced with a solid foundation of the liberal arts. This collaborative approach prepares students to embrace new means of expression through practical experience, public presentation, and reflection, all of which are integrated into the educational process.

The School of Theoretical and Applied Science (TAS) has a rich history of preparing students for professional and academic careers in the sciences and mathematics. Our small classes are hands-on and taught by faculty who know your name. Our faculty have spent decades mentoring our students via the TAS Research Honors curriculum in which students work formally with a faculty research sponsor to conduct work presented at regional, national and international professional meetings and conferences.

Students who pursue an education in the School of Humanities and Global Studies (HGS) can choose to minor in Anthropology, Creative Writing, East Asian Studies, French, Human Rights and Genocide Studies, Italian Studies, Judaic Studies, Latino/a and Latin American Studies, Museum and Exhibition Studies, Philosophy, Public Policy, and a certificate in Spanish for Healthcare & Human Services. Our majors and minors can be combined for a flexible and individually tailored learning experience.
