Sonja Cullaro, Executive Vice President, Christie’s Special Properties Real Estate Services

With nearly 20 years in the finance and real estate industries, Sonja brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her role of Executive Vice President of Christie’s Special Properties.  She holds a Certified Luxury Specialist designation awarded by Christie’s International Real Estate. As part of her role, Sonja is responsible for all aspects of business development, including the marketing of distinctive properties and working with Christie’s International Real Estate to expand the Christie’s brand to new territories. Sonja has appeared on CNBC’s Secret Lives of the Super Rich, NBC Open House, and CBS Living Large.

Prior to joining the management team at Special Properties, Sonja spent over 15 years on Wall Street. From 2011-2013, Sonja served as Vice President of Corporate Lending, including commercial real estate lending, at TD Bank Financial Group. From 2001-2011, Sonja was employed at Fidelity Investments in New York, where she served as Senior Director in the Institutional Brokerage Division, holding her Series 7, 24 and 63 licenses. In 2011, Sonja was awarded the Fidelity Institutional President’s Award for her leadership and service.

She holds both a Bachelors in Finance and Masters in Business Administration in Finance and Management from the Stern School of Business at New York University, and has completed an executive development program at Harvard University. Sonja supports and is actively involved in several philanthropic and community organizations and is a member of the Board of Governors of the Ramapo College of New Jersey.
