Instructions: Before submitting this form, please review the RCNJ written Hot Work Policy.

Ramapo College Employees conducting hot work in Designated Areas must make NOTIFICATION to RCNJ Fire Safety using this form at least 24 hours in advance of commencing work.  Designated Areas include:

1. Sculpture Studio
2. Berrie Center Set Shop
3. Facilities Garage

Ramapo College Employees conducting hot work elsewhere on campus must submit a permit application at least 48 hours in advance of commencing work.

Outside Contractors conducting hot work anywhere on campus must submit a permit application at least 1 week in advance of commencing work.  In most cases, a Type 1 permit will also be required from the New Jersey Division of Fire Safety.
