Mario H. Afram P’21

Mario H. Afram is a distinguished Private Wealth Financial Advisor, Managing Director, Senior PIM Portfolio Manager and Sports and Entertainment Accredited Wealth Management Advisor with Wells Fargo Advisors, based in Paramus, New Jersey.

Mario’s journey is one of determination and success. Since emigrating from Cyprus to the United States at the age of 15, Mario embraced the challenges of a new country and culture. He went on to graduate from Montclair State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance and International Marketing laying the foundation for an outstanding career in financial services.

With over 35 years of experience in the financial industry, Mario has held key roles at prestigious firms such as Smith Barney, Paine Webber, Morgan Stanley, and UBS before bringing his expertise to Wells Fargo Advisors. Renowned for his personalized, hands-on approach, Mario builds relationships of trust and delivers exceptional financial guidance that empowers his clients to achieve lasting success.

Mario is also deeply committed to giving back to the community. For over three decades, he has supported numerous philanthropic causes, championing initiatives that benefit veterans, children, and animal welfare. His leadership extends to prominent organizations, including the Greek American Chamber of Commerce, where he served as President and Chairman of the Board. Additionally, he is an active member of the American Hellenic Educational Progressive Association, an affiliate member of the Bergen County Police Chiefs Association, and a member of the NYPD Retired Detectives Association. Mario also serves on the Board of Trustees for the Bergen County Police Chiefs Association Foundation, which supports critical programs for veterans.

Beyond his professional and philanthropic endeavors, Mario is a passionate enthusiast of sports, ice hockey, fine art, and classic cars. A connoisseur of wine and a collector of memorabilia, he brings the same dedication to his personal interests as he does to his career. For the past 27 years, Mario has lived in Park Ridge with his wife Joanne and their son Nicholas, embodying the values of family and community that have defined his remarkable life. His son Nicholas graduated from Ramapo College in 2021 from The Anisfield School of Business with a degree in Finance.

Kelvin O. Crumby ’11

KELVIN O. CRUMBYKelvin Othello Crumby is an Assistant Tax Director for Balfour Beatty Management Inc., a leading international infrastructure group specializing in construction management, military housing, rail, and investment services. The tax department is based in Woodcliff Lake, NJ, where he manages tax technology, while supporting compliance and strategic planning for the company’s U.S. operations.

With nearly two decades of experience in taxation, Kelvin’s career has progressed from general accounting functions to being a seasonal tax professional. Additionally, he collaborates with finance, legal, and operations teams to align tax strategies with broader business goals.

Kelvin’s career began after eight years of honorable service in the United States Marine Corps, where he trained as a Financial Management Resource Analyst at MCB Camp Lejeune, NC. His military service instilled in him a strong work ethic, discipline, and leadership skills that have shaped his professional success. Transitioning into the civilian workforce, he gained extensive experience in governmental and private-sector accounting before rising to his current leadership role.

Kelvin earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting from Ramapo College (2011) and a Master of Science in Taxation from Fairleigh Dickinson University (2018).

A dedicated mentor and advocate for professional development, Kelvin has played an integral role in developing a successful internship program—primarily from Ramapo College students—bridging the gap between academia and the professional world, helping shape the next generation of tax and accounting professionals.

Beyond his professional achievements, Kelvin is deeply committed to community service. He is an active leader at Bailey Military Institute, Marine Corps League’s Jedh C. Barker Detachment in New Jersey, New Jersey Chapter of the Tax Executives Institute, and the Alumni Association Board of Directors at Ramapo College.

Bill and Linda Dator

BILL AND LINDA DATORBill and Linda Dator have been actively involved with Ramapo College since 1970.  They were instrumental in the purchase of the land and the planning of the campus.  Bill suggested the Stephen Birch Estate as a potential site for the newest New Jersey State College.  Since its founding in 1973, The Dator’s vision and contributions have been instrumental in Ramapo’s transition as the premier public liberal arts institution in New Jersey.

Bill was appointed Trustee of the College in 2012 by then Governor Chris Christie.  He served as Chair from 2017-2020. During his service on the Board he has chaired the Nominations & Governance Committee, Mission Fulfillment Committee, and Executive/Judicial Committee. He also represented the Board in our comprehensive facilities planning efforts in 2012 and 2023.

Currently, Bill is a third generation real estate broker and is currently associated with the Mahwah office of Christie’s International Real Estate Services, LLC.  He is also a state certified real estate appraiser, Vice Chairman of the Mahwah Board of Adjustment and an active member of the Mahwah Office of Emergency Management. Bill was formerly Chairman of the Northwest Bergen Utilities Authority and past President of the Mahwah Regional Chamber of Commerce. He served as Director of Independence Bank and Commerce Bank North.  He is a graduate of Monmouth University and studied real estate at the University of Indiana, The University of Connecticut and The University of San Francisco Law School.

Linda Dator is a realtor with Christie’s International Real Estate Services, LLC, specializing on historical homes.  She has been a member of the NJAR Distinguished Sales Club and its Circle of Excellence for 25 consecutive years.  Linda is the founder and organizer of the Mahwah Day Celebration, past Vice President of the Mahwah Regional Chamber of Commerce and former member of the New Jersey Historical Commission.  She graduated from Trenton State College (now College of New Jersey) and earned professional certifications from Philadelphia College of Art, the New York School of Interior Design and the Graduate Realtor Institute. Linda has been a member of the Ramapo College Foundation Board of Governors since 1992 and serves on the Distinguished Gala, the Golf and the Havemeyer Edible Garden Committees.

The Dator’s are lifelong residents of Mahwah and are both Trustees of the Mahwah Museum.  Bill was the Founding Chair of the Friends of Ramapo.  They have three children and five grandchildren.
