Interpersonal violence such as Sexual Assault, is an affront to the well-being and inherent dignity of our community. Sexual assault harms individual victims and represents the possibility of ongoing harm to others. Ramapo College does not tolerate any form of power based discrimination. This includes discrimination based on sex and/or gender.

Sexual harassment, in any form; such as sexual assault, stalking, and intimate partner/interpersonal violence are harmful to the well-being of our community members, the learning/working environment, and collegiate relationships among our students, faculty, and staff. Students are strongly urged to report sexual assaults to College authorities and to the police in order to protect themselves and others.
