She worked in the counseling centers at Seton Hall University and William Paterson University prior to becoming the Director of the Center for Health and Counseling Services at Ramapo College in 2007.
Dr. Green specializes in treating college students who struggle with issues of depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, self-esteem concerns, eating and body image challenges, self-injurious behaviors, and emotional dysregulation. Using Existential Psychology to guide her work, Dr. Green helps her clients look at where they may not be leading a genuine life and helps them make changes. She helps her clients explore where they may not be taking responsibility for themselves and their decisions and how this may be connected to personal and mental health problems. Dr. Green is a high energy, passionate psychologist who challenges her clients to take an active role in their lives and own their decisions in order to create the life that they want.
