2. Submit The Graduation Application

NOW (no later than April 1st)

In order for your name to be listed in the Commencement program you must submit your graduation application by Tuesday, April 1, 2025*.

The online graduation application is accessible after you meet with your advisor for a degree audit and access to the application is approved. View instructions on the application process. A graduation application is required to earn your Ramapo degree regardless of participation in Commencement and related events. Participating in Commencement does not guarantee graduation.

We strongly advise that you schedule your degree audit meeting with your advisor before Spring Break (March 17-22)!

*Graduates submitting their application after April 1st will not be listed in the Commencement Program.

For questions related to your eligibility to graduate, your graduation application, and/or the processing of your diploma, please contact the Office of the Registrar directly at grad@ramapo.edu.

Parents and friends, if you would like to make a gift in your graduate’s name, a portion of the gift will benefit the 2024-25 Fund for Ramapo College. Parents are also welcome to purchase a graduating senior parent shirt this year.

We want your feedback!  Take a moment to take the senior survey once it goes live later this Spring!

9. ArchingRamapo College Arching ceremony

Ramapo College will host Class of 2025 graduates and guests for the time-honored tradition of Arching on Wednesday, May 14, 2025. The Arching Ceremony begins at 4:30 p.m. and is held at the Arch.

Arching ceremonies mark both the beginning and ending of the Ramapo College experience. On their first day as Ramapo students, the Class of 2025 students processed up Mansion Road and through the Arch where they were greeted by our College President. On May 14, 2025, graduates of the Class of 2025 will process through the Arch and down Mansion Road as it is lined with cheering families, friends, faculty, and staff. This signifies the completion of the Ramapo experience.

The Arching Ceremony is designed for graduates to bring TWO guests for the most optimal viewing experience for all guests. Arching is an outdoor event that involves a lot of walking and standing for guests. Comfortable shoes are recommended.
