Nursing Student Organization (NSO)

The Nursing Student Organization (NSO) at Ramapo College encourages leadership among nursing students while fostering nursing excellence through service and professional development. All nursing students are welcome to attend and participate in meetings and service oriented activities. The NSO provides academic support through interactive panel discussions and peer mentoring. Looking to connect with other students or have questions on time management? Peer mentors who’ve been in your shoes can be a great resource. Throughout the year, students are given opportunities to virtually connect with Ramapo nursing alumni to learn about various specialties, transition forms student to RN, job searching, and more. On campus, the NSO plans informative and social events that promote professionalism and philanthropy. For example, the NSO is involved in Relay for Life, organizes card drives for local hospitals, and hosts Senior Citizen proms.
