Black Student Union

Our objective as the Black Student Union is:

To unite all students from various ethnicities and backgrounds while promoting awareness of black culture through events and discussions.
To maintain and promote active communication and interaction between all students, faculty, and organizations of the African Diaspora including the Brothers Making a Difference, Ebony Women for Social Change, Organization of Latino Unity, and Students of Caribbean Ancestry and other minority organizations on campus.
To create and maintain a safe space for students to share their experiences and thoughts as people of color as well as promote self-growth and empowerment through our office space. (SC-227).
To support the incoming students as they integrate into the campus environment. We are your family away from home and we want to help build you to be a better student as well as a better member of society.
To continue to expand and support the Africana Studies Program at Ramapo College.
To keep communications with other BSU members on other campuses and universities.
