The Anisfield School of Business minor in Human Resource Management prepares students with the knowledge, skills, and competencies needed to effectively manage human resources in organizations.
Goal 1: Foundation: Our students will have a broad-based knowledge in the functional areas of human resource management.
Outcome 1: Students will comprehend principles and practices in key human resource management function.
Goal 2: Reasoning: Our students will be critical thinkers and decision makers who are able to use quantitative and qualitative methods.
Outcome 1: Students will be able to identify and analyze problems and opportunities, generate alternatives, and recognize appropriate solutions.
Goal 3 Communication: Our students will demonstrate effective written communication using appropriate current technology.
Outcome 1: Students will compose well-written business documents.
At least half of the courses fulfilling a minor must be distinct from the student’s major. That is, three of the six courses required for a minor cannot be used towards fulfillment of major requirements. A School Core does not need to be completed for a minor. Minors are open to students regardless of school affiliation.
