Demosthenes Agrafiotis, b 1946, a leading voice of International Avant-garde art, is active in the fields of painting, poetry, photography, video, and inter-media. He has a special interest in the relationship between art and techno-science. He lives in Athens, Greece.

Demosthenes Agrafiotis will give an Artist Talk from 1:00-2:00pm in ASB 135.

Keith D’Arcy of SONGS publishing will give a presentation on the roles of publishing in the contemporary music industry. SONGS is the leading independent music publisher of contemporary music in the world, representing leading songwriters including Lorde, Diplo, Nelly, and The Weekend.  D’Arcy works in the field of Creative Licensing and Catalog Acquisition at SONGS, and has 18 years of professional experience as a music producer and supervisor at EMI Music Publishing, Universal Music Publishing, Sony BMC Music entertainment, and ad agency Bates Worldwide. Keith has placed hundreds of songs in campaigns for global brands like Nike, Mercedes, BMW, Intel, Fidelity, American Express, Pepsi, Fisher Price, Northwest Airlines, Heineken, and Viagra. He also has worked as a producer for independent music house Sacred Noise.
