This trip is available to students enrolled in ARTS 406: Advanced Photography only.

Students enrolled in Professor Yolanda del Amo’s Advanced Photography course will take a field trip to MOMA to visit the “Stephen Shore” exhibit. Stephen Shore is one of the most important American photographers of the 20th century. He was one of the early color photographers of the 70s who redefined what was considered a “fine art photograph,” and his work has been highly influential for generation of contemporary photographers. This exhibition encompasses the entirety of the artist’s work of the last five decades and is a unique opportunity to expose students to original works that they have learned about in class.
