Professor Weissman will bring the students of both his intermediate and advanced sculpture classes to the 10th Annual Intercollegiate Iron Pour. The Intercollegiate Iron Pour at Salem Art Works will enhance the students learning by introducing them to new methodologies and processes of iron casting while simultaneously exposing the students to a larger community of contemporary artists and sculptors. Throughout the weekend long event, students will be able to tour the 100 acre sculpture park, visit the resident artist studios, and interact with other students from over 10 schools including Alfred University, Massachusetts College of Art and Design, and Rochester Institute of Technology.
