In celebration of Puerto Rican Heritage Month and Veterans and Military Families Month, the Berrie Center is pleased to present the provocative theater piece “Amal.” “Amal” explores the search for meaning, purpose, and identity through enlisting in the military, as well as Puerto Rico’s cultural and military history. This powerful performance delves into the impact of war on both combatants and noncombatants as people of color, and shares experiences of veteran’s adjustment to life after war.
This performance is for mature audiences only. NOTE: Production uses strobe lights and there is a gunshot blast.
Tickets: $5 RCNJ Students w/ID (limit 1), $ 10 RCNJ Faculty and Staff w/ID (limit 2), College/University Students $ 10 (limit 1), Veteran’s $ 10 (limit 2), General Admission Adult $25
